The Placentia Chamber of Commerce is an organization committed to the development and growth of the economic, civic and industrial success of our community.

Who Are We?

Established in 1924, the Placentia Chamber of Commerce has members ranging from local, home-based small businesses to some of the nation’s larger corporate entities and franchises, and is continuing to grow in both membership and influence.

Ambassador Spotlight!

Lori has been a proud Placentia resident since 2017, when she returned home to care for her parents. Her family’s history in the area dates back to the early 1980s when they first immigrated to Placentia. Lori attended John Tynes Elementary and has fond memories of walking to school and meeting her favorite ESL teacher’s pet pig. Placentia remains a special part of her childhood, and she is grateful to be back in her hometown for this next chapter of her life.

In 2020, Lori opened Orange County Acupuncture and Herbs, a clinic specializing in holistic health. She blends modern medical understanding of the fascial system with ancient acupuncture theories to treat chronic pain and disease. Her scientific background and broad life experiences allow her to serve as a valuable resource for her patients, and she finds great joy in supporting their recovery through holistic medicine.

Outside of work, Lori participates in the APA billiards league and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a foodie who loves live performances of all kinds and hopes to travel more. Lori is passionate about her work and feels honored to serve the community as a resource for acupuncture, fascia therapy, and herbal medicine. She enjoys supporting the Chamber and connecting with neighbors to help make Placentia an even better place to live.
